Energy Audit - Existing Homes
Energy rating history
In 1991 mandatory insulation came in regulation. To accommodate
this new development NatHERS software developed by the CSIRO, has been
adopted throughout Australia to help develop energy efficient homes.
Design changes alone can reduce heating and cooling energy costs by up
to 40 percent.
Peter Gerster was one of the first insulation industry leaders to use the CSIRO NatHERS Energy rating software in 1991.
