THERMAL RATING

Golden Fleece “BulkFill” Wool has been tested in accordance with ASTM C51885,the Aust Standard for Thermal Efficiency, & is installed at the thickness & density to achieve the Thermal Ratings specified.

FLAMMABILITY

Golden Fleece “BulkFill” Wool when tested to AS 1530.31989 achieved a Spread of Flame Index of “0” and a Smoked Developed Index of “4”.

INSTALLATION

Expertly installed to comply with the Australian Standard for the Installation of Thermal Insulation AS3999, including the placing of batts around down lights, exhaust fans, vents, kitchen & heater flues & around & over the manhole.

Official CSIRO Research Proves Better Performance of Wool Insulation :

“Wool insulation performs better because of it’s ability to rapidly absorb and desorb moisture from the air. The release of moisture by wool insulation results in the cooling of the fibre mass. So when the outside temperature increases and begins to heat the wool, it desorbs or releases moisture which has a cooling effect on the fibre. This improves the ability of the fibre mass to reduce the flow of heat from outside to inside the building.” (Media release 2/93 CSIRO)
